Our Story

Monson Lawn & Landscaping was founded by Tom Monson in 2009 while he was a student at Cretin-Derham Hall. What started with a push mower and a 1991 Chevy truck soon grew into a reputable business, driven by hard work and dedication. Even while earning a degree in Marketing at St. Cloud State University, he remained committed to his clients, returning home every weekend to keep up with his growing customer base.

Now, with over 17 years of experience, Monson Lawn & Landscaping has evolved into a leading provider of residential and commercial lawn care and snow removal services across the Twin Cities metro area. A company built on trust, quality, and professionalism, with a dedicated team delivering reliable service.

A key part of this success is Shane Nelson, who has been a valued member of Monson Lawn & Landscaping since 2010. In 2023, he moved into his role of General Manager of Operations, helping to oversee day-to-day functions and ensure top-quality service for all clients.
